Ron Mueck. Hyper-Realist Sculptor
This stuff is crazy. I can not fathom how someone can recreate the human body so realistically. The scale at which he does some of these sculptures, to duplicate every line, wrinkle, and texture of skin…..to me, seems impossible.
Sam Jinks does similar work if you like this stuff but its NSFW. Dont get eXcited…they are kinda gross…

Michael Salter
Michael Salter is head of the digital arts department at the University of Oregon. His work is pretty much the reason I got into digital art. Check it out. His styrofoam robots even made it into Kanye’s blog a while back. He’s big time.
If you go to Oregon, take a class from this guy.
